WELCOME TO OUR APPLICATION PORTAL!
The Johansen Larsen Foundation is a private charitable foundation that provides grants to organizations that offer programming to enrich the lives of those marginalized in our communities (both human and animal). We emphasize the importance of initiatives that foster learning and well-being, which are both accessible and inclusive. Welcome to our new Survey Monkey Apply application portal.
WHAT DO WE FUND?
Each year we only provide funding for programs related to two of our focus areas. In 2022, our focus areas are One Health and Marginalized Children/Youth. We aim to balance our funding between our focus areas each year. We tend to have more applications for our Marginalized Children and Youth focus area than Reconciliation and One Health. For this reason, we encourage applicants to consider building a focus on Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples and/or the One Health model into their programming.
Look on this webpage for our guiding principles for grant-making, grant amounts, as well as a list of expenses that are ineligible for funding.
